Data protection declaration
KinderStiff Consulting is a Norwegian headhunter company. We pay great attention to confidential and secure treatment of all information on individual candidates, and comply with Norwegian law on the processing of personal data.
What sort of data do we collect?
CV, possible application and certificates
We collect information when you submit your CV or apply for a position we are dealing with. We may also request certificates, diplomas, etc.
We may store e-mail correspondence and notes in our systems. Test responses are not stored in our systems, but by our partners (Cut-e and SHL).
How do we use the data?
We use the data you provide to obtain an overall view of your expertise and experience. We assess whether you are relevant for present and future positions or boardroom appointments which we are recruiting for on behalf of our clients.
Communication with you
We use the data we have to contact you in relation to positions which could be relevant or to respond when you contact us. We also use your data to send you newsletters by e-mail when you have requested this.
How are data shared?
We transfer the necessary information to clients when you have consented to this. You could give such consent when you apply for a position or after we have contacted you about a vacant position.
Sharing with third-party providers
We work with other companies or individuals who carry out assignments on our behalf. We use the Filefinder database system and Microsoft365, for example, have servers with ABS Net and carry out testing with Cut-e and SHL.
Are your personal data transferred to countries outside the EU/EEA?
Your personal data could be transferred to and processed in one or more other countries, both inside and outside the EU/EEA. We only transfer personal data about you to countries outside the EU/EEA which the European Commission has identified as providing an adequate level of protection, or where suitable security measures have been adopted to ensure that your data are protected. We only transfer data about you if we have clients in these countries or if the above-mentioned partners are located there. All our partners comply with Norwegian law on processing personal data.
How can I gain access to, administer or erase information about myself?
If you want access to and a copy of the data we hold about you, or if you have questions, want corrections or erasures made or have comments on our processing of personal data, please get in touch with your contact at our company or send an e-mail to email@example.com.
We store data for as long as necessary to complete individual appointments, or in order to get in touch with you regarding new opportunities if you have consented to this.

You have the right to complain to your local data protection authorities about our processing of your personal data.
How do we handle legal requests or avoid detrimental effects?
We can use, retain and share your personal data in response to a legal request when we believe in good faith that the law requires us to comply with this.
