Orkla's new Sustainability targets towards 2030 aim to combine profitable growth with environmental and social ambitions. The targets provide Orkla with a clear strategic direction for its work on climate, nature, people and responsible business practices.
Orkla CoE ESG & Sustainability has among others the responsibility for the consolidated group sustainability reporting according to EUs Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive. Focus for the Sustainability Group Controller will be on development, supervision and control of Orkla’s Environmental and EU Taxonomy reporting, including data collection, reporting guidelines, system support and controlling in line with external & internal requirements.
Main responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate Orkla’s Environmental and EU Taxonomy reporting process together with the rest of the sustainability team, including data gathering, review, analysis and control
- Serve as super user and system responsible for selected Orkla systems used for sustainability reporting, e.g. CEMAsys
- Drive reporting improvement initiatives for Orkla and PortCos
- Be a trusted advisor on environmental, climate and EU Taxonomy reporting
Candidate profile:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field, preferably within environmental/sustainability studies
- +3 years of experience from environmental and sustainability management, alternatively ESG audit & assurance.
- Experience with Orkla’s reporting systems (CEMAsys and Tagetik) and tools is an advantage, but not a requirement
- Strong analytical abilities, well organized with excellent cooperative skills
- Passionate with a strong drive to delve into ESG issues
- Fluent in English and Norwegian, both written and oral
